Wonderful Citrine terminated crystal from Africa. Wonderful feel, beautiful to gaze upon. We have polished most faces of this crystal! A fine rusty red Phantom Quartz Crystal Cluster from the Orange River along the border of South Africa and Namibia. Orange River Quartz was formed in different stages. The original crystal growth is always covered by a secondary quartz layer. The separation can be seen easily, as heamatite colouration usually forms a border between these two stages.
